is this actually a good head that deservs almost all 4.8's can i actually trust that it is that good. and its not that appealing to look at with its weird shape. Is it worth it

this is amazing head for all positions, its and evo 2.0 but better. (Same Mold, Stiffer Plastic) But i would wait a little while. It cracks in the snow and i would recommend getting it right before the season so if it breaks during the season it is still in the warrenty. Mine broke in the snow ( Dumb move by me) but Warrior sent it back quickly with no problems. Another reason to wait because the new Warrior Evolyte should be coming out soon. ( EVO NOS = ELOLYTE) I would wait to see how that is but it you don't need the lightest stuff ever, this is the next best thing for any position, just don't play with it in the snow. =-]

this head is ranked reall high, can I trust that? all its 4.8's and 4.9's cause the clutch X is a lot of 4.3's and 4.4's and the brine gospel is like 4.2's and stuff -- but which is really the best?? cause I need to find a new head since i just broke my old regular clutch-which is out of regulation now-sucks..

I have this head and it is really amazing. It is pertecf for any position. It is tight enough for an attack head,light enough for a middie head and tough/stiff enough for a defence head. Though i broke mine today after about four months in 20-30 degree weather.If i were to get anouther i would wait until the season to get one so that if it breaks during the season (most likely time) you can return it and get a new one for free. By the way, i broke mine passing in the backyard when i caught a hard pass neer the scoop (weird) but had no problems at all during practice.

this is the best head imaginable. It is durable, light weight, and has an awesome pinch for a great price. I have it on a wonderboy and it is amazing.If you have a choice of getting any head, get this one.

its great for face offs as long as you dont rely on the plunger. its pretty open and super stiff so it make clamps an easy win but its hard to plunger with cause of the face shape and lack of flex makes it hard to pinch the ball in the stick

AMAZING!

I used this head for one or two minutes in its first game before it bent all the way to one side. Warrior tried so hard making a stiff head that they made it too stiff. The problem is once it bends/warps it doesn't warp back, other than that it has a good design. I would try a different evolution head if you were initially interested in this one.

I had two Evo Pro's they both broke in the same week, I loved them they where great heads for the three years I had them. I replaced them with a proton power and it is far to flexible,it warps with each throw and catch, What I would like is for some brave soul to please inform me and the many people wondering about the main differences between the heads. With a particular bent with knowledge (facts) and personal experience. Please be specific (ex. wieght, catching, throwing) not a number but real world data. Also comparisons to other heads wouldn't hurt.

ALright to anwser your question, i dont really know about hold and that sort of stuf but this head really is everything your gonna get out of the evo 2.0, plus extra durability and stifness. I myself was not a fan of the warrior heads by any means, and up until this point it was brine for me. But after using this head on my pole ive been really amazed. Its a versatile head that will not break or flex on you, which may result in the greater accuracy like you were saying. For middies and defenders i strongly recomend this choice of head, epspecially for Lsm's. If you a pole your gonna find that this head supplies alot of needs that a defender wants in a head, especially in the stiffness department. Middies like wise, your gonna be happy with this head for durability purposes and accuracy as well. POLES*- try this head on a gait ice, chances are you will be happy with the lightness and durability the combo gives

I dont have the spyne YET but i do have 2.0. The 2.0 is sick. its so nice I love it, the only problem is its just not stiff enough. Im going to get a spyne and hopefully it will be stiffer. Bottom line- i would just take the 5 dollar hit and get the spyne cause its stiffer

Alright i have a torque and it is a good head, and is really light. But, if u shoot side arm or pass side arm, it is horrible. It also has a nice shot, but u can get more speed with a helix and better faceoff in my opinion. But, out of ur heads i would either go with a evo spyne or second a viper 2.

You're an idiot bro. It's not the torque that is making your stick suck at side arm. It's your stringing job. Re string your head and get a nylon at the top to give yourself some whip and you'll throw side arm fine.

It wont hold dye the same way, it comes out in splotches and doesn't have an even or dark color. Warrior is considering coming out with Factory Dyed ones because of this factor.

thats a good combo. my friend has evo spyne with db803 and ice and db803 are both part of the 803 series so im asuming it will fit on an ice. just go to the store and try it out.

this head has great hold and stiffness, but it is terrible (as are most warrior heads) for stringing

I'm 13 and i use a proton power. its really good for passing, ground balls, shooting and it never breaks

I just bought this head a few days ago and it's already surpassed all my expectations. The head is incredibly stiff, but still manages not to break when throwing hard checks. If you are a defensive midi, LSM, or close D you really should consider buying this. As a LSM i love the way it handles the ball and delivers pain. However when i put this on my attack shaft, I was equally impressed at the offensive abilities. The head gives you incredible torque while maintaining accuracy. This head is definitely the best I've ever played with.

Correct me if I'm wrong but lacrosse heads tend to not break BECAUSE they flex. Warrior heads are already of questionable quality (Original lazer had serious defects as do evo and revo) So now they are making a stiffer head (less flex)? Explain to me how this is not going to break like glass...

im sure that warrior was aware of how often the evo and revo break. Knowing this they tried to design a head that would warp and bend, and still not be so breakable, like glass as you put it. im not positive but im sure that warrior used a different kind of plastic when they created this head.

no its not but remember its gonna be alot stiffer so it must weight a little more it weights abou as much as the brine clutch the evo 2.o - 4.5 ounces the evo spyne - 4.9 ounces

from what i have interpreted from other websites and sources, this head is different than the evo 2.0. warrior is using a new type of nylon polymer blend that allows the plastic to not get soft in warmer temperatures and its going to be 25% stiffer than the original evo 2.0. other than that they are using the exact same mold, just with a few variations on the throat. so all in all i think its worth the extra 5$.

i play attack and i want to get a not so pinched head and im thinking about this cuz i want a strong head the evo ti is to expensive and heavy for me shuld i get this? or any other good attack heads that rnt to heavy

The clutch and razor 2.0 or pro 2.0 are good but my razor pro 2.0 broke in less a year. the clutch's ofset sort of throws me off because I'm used to the warrior heads. hope that helped the evo spyne looks good.

unless your whole team has expensive stuff... you should prolly get the razer 2.0 or evo 2.0 (nothing in the spyne series) cuz its the same thing just stronger and you prolly dont need anything stronger
