this is a great head if you play middie or attack because it throws well and has really good hold if you string it well |

I'm looking to upgrade from my STX Bionic on my D Pole. Would this be a good D head? please reply |
 | | - nathan.sprgaue 4/05/12 reply
This head looks kind of thin.
I use the Gait torque for my dpole, it's really nice, held up so far, quite light and has really great control. For my back up d'pole I have the bionic too. |
 | | - jmanru94 5/11/12 reply
This head is typically used by attack because it has a lot of hold if it's strung correctly. This isn't really a defensive head because it's really light and isn't too stiff. Using it as a D head will probably mess it up because it isn't that stiff and the throat can pinch its self with aggressive use. |
 | | - kinglaxer79 5/13/12 reply
proton u, xcalibur, x10, or if your good with a dpole super power |
 | | - jmanru94 5/12/12 reply
No, different companies put the screw holes on their shafts in different places so this head will only fit on Warrior or Brine shafts unless you want to buy a Maverick or STX shaft and then drill it |

I had a great season using the SP and is prob. the best head out there. it's like the PP but doesn't warp as fast so it's more durable. |

I am a middie and sometimes face-off and am getting a new head. My options are
1.) Proton Power
2.) Brine Clutch (Superlight?)
3.) Warrior Evo 2.0
Which head should i get? |

 | | - FHCLAX70 12/21/11 reply
depends on what youre lookin for in a head, the clutch is my favorite shooting head its great, passing not so much and its pretty stiff not stiff enough to play defense though
 | - lacrossebrett 4/28/11 reply
I just ordered my own because my friend had one that was strung crazy good.If u can string it right you can dominate with this head. This head is also a little smaller than most heads, so it is harder for people to check it. |
 | | - bottfamily 4/28/11 reply
get the evo 2.0 its light and amazing but the revo 2.0 is wider and made for d-fence
 | | | - tlaxing21 5/12/11 reply
the revo 2 is no wider than the evo 2, its just a little heavier and stiffer cuz its made for dfence
 | - nicklax28 4/08/11 reply
i think it is a great d head cause it is stiff but i already broke it so kinda good :( |
 | | - SaltyLax23 4/25/11 reply
it broke because its not made for d. thats what the revo is for
 | - lax dude . ! 4/05/11 reply
well evo/evolyte r great they have nice pinch for low pocket cobra is also good i use 1 one game and another another game cobra is good has nice channel and great pinch for any pocket and for more advanced player overall evo great it good if u like less good but it still amazing if u in mml and stuff and cobra is for more advanced players. it all personal preference if u want a head that has more channel then cobra u want something that will create the best low pocket go for evo they both have the same durability cobra mayb a bit more. it depends either way u get the best head outthere u could also get evolyte and pinch it to b like cobra and then have crazy lite head and have great channel just a thought if u r still lost get cobra cuz it more advanced and u could use it when u like a senior cuz it like mose advanced head out there |

 | - Dr. Dangles 2/20/11 reply
this head is flexible and very durable. great for faceoffs and very accurate and it scoops up ground balls like a champ. i recommend this to anybody looking for a nice, cheap head. |
 | | - laxer#1.6! bro 2/20/11 reply
its not flexible sure it bends but its not flexible it stiffer than a clutch 2x and a sp which r both pretty stiff |
 | - #1 !!! 2/15/11 reply
got this and i love it. To lebanondefense yes it is exreemly pinched at bottom but if u cradle this head perpendicular to the ground for about 5 min the side wall strings and mess widen up and the ball doesnt stick to sidewall strings. The scoop on this head is amazing!!!! if u look at this head at the top looking at the sidewall pic the scoop is flat causing amazing ground ball pick-up. Other heads have this curl making it harder. This also makes catching and throughing a lot easier. This head is shorter than most heads. This allows people who want a low pocket to have a lower pocket and u can have less whip. The common problem for attackmen is that with a low pocket u need a really long channel in ur mesh. this creates a loss in ball control when stick vertical. The solution to this is to ad whip and or raise ur pocket. but because the stick is about half to 3quaters of an inch shorter u get the ability to create a low pocket and have very little whip. This head answers all problems. Great head for any position stiff enough for d and has enough pinch for advanced people and provides a large catching area for intermediate players if u play lax then u need to buy this head or u will never know the true meaning of lax.!!! |
 | - jackoben 2/13/11 reply
it is such a good head!!!!!!!!!! I use it all the time! |
 | - laxer#1.6! bro 2/09/11 reply
Guys this head is one of the best. K so a lot of people r saying that this heead is illegal i had this head last summer as a back up and it was almost better than cobra and is way better than pp or clutch which r crapthey r to flexy and warp so eaisly. Ill admitt that it is very pinched. Where the ball stop goes is like the same as the ball the ball will fet nicly in top of it. So it can get stuck. but honestly guys how many games have u been at where they cheack you stick to see if it legal and if they do then heat it in oven at 200 degrees and shove like a soda can or any thing that is wider than a lax ball and this will make it legal. It not hard spand 10 min of the sofa playing video games or tv and make yourself useful. this is so easy please help urselves buy thin it the best for price!!!! |
 | - Jack Thomas 1/23/11 reply
dont listen to the ppl that say this head is illegal the only nfhs spec is that it 10in long and 6.5 in scoop and it nice pinch the bottom is like the exact bottom hemisphere of ball then opens up for good catching and throughing. overall great head for intermediat or even advanced players. only down fall is that it has small channel but the extremlly pinched bottom makes it work!! |

is this good for middie and its my second year and is it good in rain |
 | | - lax dude . ! 4/05/11 reply
rain doesnt make difference all heads will be worst in rain and yes great head for middie if u face off it mite warp so u mite wanna get x version but it will still last u a season depending on how many game 10-20 with 2 to 3 2 hr practices and it should b fine if u have practice every day and like 30 games they mayb u mite need to get a new head nere end of season but prob not it really durable and just simpily the best |
 | - LebanonDefense 10/19/10 reply
Please to save you the time do not get this head.
PRos: Great Weight. Decent, accuracy, ball control
Cons: This isnt legal for HS league had it one year Hated it it tears up your sidewall strings and if you have a low pocket wil be ILLEGAL |

 | - Andrew6 8/26/10 reply
Ive had this head for an entire season and its one of the best heads i have ever owned...better then the proton power and the brine clutch in my opinion. I am a middie and this is an ideal head for this postion...it is pinched enough for good ball control and accurate passing and shooting...but unpinched enough ( esspecially at the top) for easy catching.. the scoop is also great for groundballs... this head strung correctly is one of the best that you can buy and at $69 its a steal..i have owned many other heads (clutch, P2 and mojo) and this is the best... if ur a middie get this head and string it well and ull be happy u bought it. |
