I've never used the encore but this is the head I've used forever and its incredibly stiff, great for D |
 | | - blue6 1/02/13 reply
why wouldn't it? warrior head, warrior shaft. Almost all heads fit all shafts, so unless it's a crankshaft or something like that most of the time almost all gear is interchangeable |
 | | - bauernast 3/06/13 reply
i would go with the stallion. unless you play defensive middie then go for this |
 | - LaxBro87 11/08/12 reply
This or super power for attack and a little middie
 | - mtkalax 11/07/12 reply
I have a brine encore and I luv it but I want something new is this good for defense? If not what would you recommend? |
 | | - LSEverything 12/04/12 reply
This is ok for D (you really cant go wrong with evos), but Its definetly not the best. If you're ok with HS spec heads a stallion is pretty good, and has a similar pinch to an encore, bt if you need an x spec head or dont care about pinch a ton the hammer u or revo X are pretty nice. |

Alright guys, this head is stiff and light. I don't think you should do faceoffs with this but some people say that they like it for faceoffs. I'd say defense would be good. One problem with this head is that it didn't fit on many shafts. |
 | - LAXSTAR42 6/21/12 reply
Want to get it but do a
lot of face offs should I |
 | - LAXSTAR 42 6/20/12 reply
I think this is a good head.is it light would u recommend |
 | | - cristylw 6/18/12 reply
Yes it is. It's stiff enough to be one, but if i were playing defense, I would buy the white one so the two shot mold doesn't pop out. |
 | | - Laxbro1698 10/11/12 reply
i have a katana and the shaft is thin so the head wiggles around on it but if u just put some tape at the top of the shaft it will work |
 | - 45under54 6/11/12 reply
i was holding the evo 3 at my local store its very stiff but when i squeezed it the side walls snaped , would not recommend this for anyone who does face offs |
 | | - laxlord3 6/15/12 reply
the snapping means the side piece is now in place, i have one and do face offs and it is great |
 | | - cristylw 6/10/12 reply
You have to string it in a way so that it uses all four or you have to make it tight if your using two because the pressure only goes to those two bottom holes which can be alot depending on have you did it. but no i never had this problem. |

 | - RĘ~ŁÅX 6/08/12 reply
I need a new head my my d-stick. I don't like the wide fat heads I kind of like the narrower necks like the Evo 2.0 neck is perfect for me. Which head has a wider top for ground balls and which is more durable? Please help |
 | - ababb 6/01/12 reply
which head is wider this or the evo 3 and whats the difference? |
 | | - David Younker 6/06/12 reply
an x at the end of the name usually means it is wider, and also legal for ncaa play. If you are in high school, get a non-x stick.
