Lax.com pros like this head for midfielders and defensemen alike. Perhaps one of the most under rated heads by Warrior, the M80 offers superior technology. The M80 head is stiff, lightweight and has a great scoop design. The lower sidewall on this head forces the ball to sit comfortably in the middle of the head. Long stick midfielders love its ground ball performance on both grass and turf. When passing and shooting we noticed right away that it has a very smooth consistent feel that is a result of the double X sidewall design. The M80 X is legal for All levels including NCAA.

I know many people that have had this and i would not recommend it. It is great for face offs but after about a year it gets very flimsy and warps alot. Ask most people thats had one it has probably extremely warped |

if i bought this head and i got it strung by a lax pro would it be a soft mesh |

Perfect for the work horse mid/d. Double X sidewall at the throat and scoop adds the extra stiffness needed to throw punishing checks and reduce warp from gb's w/o sacrificing weight. The multiple sidewall holes are excellent and will allow for a nice deep legal pocket with a really good channel. Under rated amongst "name heads" and at a nice price that'll allow you to buy those much needed socks. |

I love this head, its my favorite on the market by far. The pinch is up there with the evo pro x6 I have (probably the most piched college legal head on the market) and I like the little bit of flare on the bottom of the sidewall. Theres a great number of stringing holes, and its awesome for a mid or mid low pocket. If you play ncaa I'd get this if you're a middie, however attack get the evo pro x6, that thing is baller too |

i wanna get this head and dye it black but im afraid it will become too flimsy especially because i take alot of faceoffs, anyone have experience dying this head? |
|

Dying actualy makes the head stronger. When you dye you put the head in hot water for the color then you take it out and rinse it off with cold water. Doing this makes it stiffer the hot to cold water will reinforce it. |

should i purchase this for d? i want a head with a lot of whip so i can still take shots cause im an offensive defenseman but i hate flimsy ones. is this a good defenseman head? |
|
 | | - averymlax 3/08/12 reply
Whip is all in how you string a head, not the head |

Got this a few weeks ago and am actually quite pleased with it. Tons of different options for stringing and the channel you get from the design of the head is great. If youre a middie or attack id reccomend it for sure. Defensemen may find it just a little too flimsy or light for their liking but its all preference |

|
 | | - zlaxham 12/07/11 reply
iwould say more of a middie head its a bit less pinched the a super and it is flexy on side walls but not top and bottom and it is light
