i need some good shoulder pads. i want something rele good. its my first year playing. are these good?

I play attack and im going to take off the arm pads but otherwise hows the weight and mobility for them and then what size should i get im 5'7 112 pounds

i say go with the STX Stinger SP, i play highschool and they are very light weight and great mobility. but i also cut off the shoulder things

warrior this isnt football i dont need to have pads protecting every inch of my body

that cost more then football shoulder pads, and they don't have the best protection

well i dono ive seen people rock these and they seem like they provide alota protection but i still love my old hitmen with everything cut off. from what ive seen the higher the level of lacrosse the less protection people want/need...and i have played with the gtown lax team for a couple of weeks...but if thats what your into or your mad skinny like me by all means these are good. plus if you havent heard chicks dig scars and flow...

I found a pair of these brand new for 20$ on ebay with ten dollar shipping, you should look there but dont pay 150$ for pads

im a middi and i take off the arm protectors but i still want protection in my shoulders wats a good light weight pad that does that

what are some affordable, comfortable lacrosse arm and shoulder pads (under 120 daollars together) that would be good for middies(perferably from warrior)

get the cell liners and arm guards. i play middie and they work perfectly for me. theyre also much cheaper than much of the warrior stuff

or anything not warrior stx has some good stuff for a much better price. the agent stuff is a good bang for the buck

What are the best recomened shoulder pads out there

these are all for looks, they look sweet, but they're not the best out there. Get something cheaper, and bulkiness is your preference. Just dont waste your cash on something based on looks.

i recently got these and they're not that great. They have good protection but they're pretty bulky and it is hard to move.

i have some crappy warrior pads that are huge and they have flaps i dont want either of those help

These are top-of-the-line pads. Start with some nice thirty dollar pads and a basic warrior alloy 2000 shaft. Nobody like a person who's stuff is better than the person using them is.

these shoulder pads are small, light weight, and great for protectin and mobility and durabilty.

I have these and i like them alot.. never use the arm pads on em.. obviously.. they arent really bulky at all.. if you have a decently big and wide upper body then these are great. If you are a skinny p.o.s, dont buy them cause they're too big on you.. overall i really like these pads.

get a pair of 20 dollar pads at modells and take some hits so u can get a new head or somtin

i've got a full scholarship to a D1 lacrosse college thanx to this tip. btw, i dont wear pads and the shaft inside mah pants is the best shaft ever its harder and longer than a Warrior Kryptolite, and its cheaper.

the strapping restricted my breathing really hard and the material gave me diarehha and constipation. All in all, its a waste of cash and bad for your health.

it happened to me too! the material made me constipated so bad i threw up poop. Then the straps gave me AIDS and herpes so i had to quit lacrosse.

D doesn't get hit alot usually, so get the cheapest and lightest pads that cover the least amount of your shoulders so that you'll get lots of mobility and maintain the ability to throw in those bone breaking checks.

im about 6'4 and a lean 250....i have the shogun pads but they are too bulky for defense and i wanna know what pads to get that have moderate chest protection but still have good mobility...any ideas

do not get the k18's. trust me. i play defense and i tried them on in a store and the plastic is really annoying even though it does protect your chest well. so i would recommend the g22's if you are willing to spend the money. but if you are not then get a liner like the Adidas excel liner or the exodus 2 SP. Anything but the k18's.

both are great. diamond is amazingly light and has great grip. the db803 is also light and has a great grip to it as well. the db803 is cheaper i belive but ive heard it bends after awhile so get the diamond if u have th money.

I wore these big-game hunting in South Africa. They breathe okay which is good. However they are too shiny so they scare away lots of animals. Then i got charged by a rhino and i got hit right in the sternum...didnt even feel it. Also a full-grown male lion bit my shoulder his teeth didnt even make it through the pad. Great Buy Well worth it.

I completely agree, i took these off on one of my hunting trips in the woods and this manbearpig came out and tried to maul me in the chest but there was this protection so now i'm not dead and eventually al gore came and ate the bears heart

get the shogun liners by stx. they are light and barely protect tou.

ok u might think im weird but actually, i would go with the adams vinyl shoulder pad liner. u can barely feel them and under a jersey it doenst look like ur wearing anything. and theyre only 30 bucks! theyre actually really good for such a bad lloking and low priced shoulder pad.

these pads are a load your paying 150bucks for a name brand, a bunch of plastic and not much else. if u wanna good shoulderpad get the brine menace, there great protection, movabilty and you get a name brand for not that much

whether you're just starting lacrosse or have been playing forever, 150$ for shoulder pads is ridiculous. they all do the same thing. you'll want something smaller for sure, and if you're just starting, definitely less expensive. bulky shoulder pads ruin your game, man up and get something small

This body armor hella sucks, it providews no protection. In a lacrsse game I went up against some mofo kid with this body armor and he got pwned. The pads didnt resist any of my strength and I sent him home crying like a little girl. Some advice 4 noobs is, dont wear pads, be a man and suk it up u little wimps.
