Great head. I've been using an eraser since jrs and this is so much lighter. I haven't had any problems with warping since the six months ive had it and the pocket works alright if you string it right though I have had problems with rebounds since restringing it

Would this be a good intermediate goalie head

I got this stick and it was great at first because of its weight but then I learned it is really hard to string and you cannot get a deep packet unless you want a really wide bowl-shaped pocket. Overall I would not recommend this head.

Do not buy this head! It's an absolute waste. Yeah it is really light, but its so flimsy and bends way too much. If its warm out you can completely invert the thing. It breaks way to often. I had one and it bent and warped in the first week. Get an Eclipse or Base

how good is this stick

after experiences with the eclipse and this void lyte i have to say i prefer my eclipse. yes, it is heavier but u really cant even notice it. the shape is so much better and u can make a nicer pocket with the eclipse. I thought the void lyte was gunna be this amazing goalie head because of its weight and i threw with it and took a couple shots and it sucked. i should have gotten another eclipse instead.

this or guardian? Or nemesis lyte?

i loved this head when i got it, it was very light, however it felt very flimsy, and breakable. needless to say i broke mine 2 weeks later. and, before it broke i warped it, almost to the point of making it not usable.

why in the world would u want to put a goalie head on ur dpole? and avoiding refs isnt gonna help.. they'll notice

Does this fit on regular shafts? i need something that will fit on my d pole to pick off passes better. People say its illegal to use goalie heads for d but ill try not to encounter any referees. any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks lax lovers, see you on the feild <3

this is a great head i got it about a week ago and it is kind of flymsy and it doesnt fit on any brine shafts?

should i get this or the nemesis lyte for a new goalie head

yes hpulax i use nemesis and people say its heavy well i dont want a feather in my hand

just curious....i borrowed the backup goalies stick one game in highschool back in 09 cuz it was a regionial finals and the coach had just restrung his stick ....it was significantly lighter than mine and i hated it.....is anyone like me and think some sticks can actually be to lite

Yes i agree with you. When i picked up the voidlyte i thought it was too light and flimsy for me. I went with a nemesis instead

its probably a better idea to have a lighter stick for games because your reaction time will be faster. During practices and just messing around i use a shaft filled with sand so im just that much quicker its a pretty good idea

im not buying this, but do people actually dye this head?

Light as crap. this head is amazing. it throws amazing and its super light. i use this head and a gait silencer, lightest stick ive ever used as a goalie

there is a bit of a difference. the void lyte is better.

I like the void better that void lyte. It's stiffer.

i doubt they're 90-100 but i know they're fast cause i play u13 and i play goalie and middy and i shoot 63 and i have a broken thumb and i have a friend that shoots 75 and im not even from a big lacrosse state, so im kinda on your side except the 100 part

a lot of people like to trash this head but its just as good as the nemesis and the eclipse. its extremely light and is one of the top heads on the market

dont get a nemi. i think it might be the heaviest goalie head ever made...okay thats an exageration but it is pretty damn heavy. i would go with this or an eclipse.

yo does anyone know if this heasd breaks easy? im 13 years old and play up with 14 and 15 yr olds that shoot 90-100 mph should i buy this or will it break too easy under the conditions that i play?

this isnt a true statement but probably more than half the players in D1 dont even shoot 100mph at the most ur probably gonna get around maybe 50mph shoots

you dont even know bro, i play up and yes they do, i live in maryland and play for the crabs. everyone in Maryland is ridiculous at shot speed, i play with Steele Stanwick's younger brothers, Shackelford and Wells and everyone in maryland who is good at lax plays D1, so Shut up when you dont even know a person's background before you make some smartass statement, you probaly live in California where everyone cant even compete with the players i play with

i believe they shoot 100 mph, i live in minnesota and they shoot 80 mph, but they cant shoot that fast in a game, you get about 6 steps and shoot your fastest id say around 80 mph in a game where you live

my travel team played the crabs and ik you guy dont all shoot 100

Oh man I bet your coach and the kids you play just love you? You're never going to play D1 if you have an attitude like this. Also for the kids arguing against him there's a freshmen on my team that shoots 85 so I believe him. But Dr. Lax is still a tool.

i'm from long island and we got a kid whos goin t maryland full ride and he shoots around 90. so i highly doubt that 14-1 year old kids are crankin shots 100

This head is great ive been using this head for about 1 and a half years now and its the best ive ever used! its a definite buy use the gait ice with it and your set a nice stong really light lacrosse stick!!

Yeah our goalie dyed this goalie head twice once yellow and then black to get to look like our school colors and it came our perfect...didnt warp or any stuff like that it came out just like any other head would

this head is light as anything! definetly a good buy for any goalie, but i would have a back up, do not use in temperature over 90 degrees, or it will deform and melt because of the nitrogeon inside of it

isnt actually any nitrogen in it, they drain it out. the nitrogen just helps shape it properly, if you look, there's holes on it
