you put it on your stick before games when you are warming up, it makes the stick feel heavy so that when you take it off your stick feels lighter than usual, everyone can obviously guess what this does for your stick skill ...BTW, do you go to westfield high in chantilly, VA?

It doesnt stay around the top of the shaft for long even with the tightener it still slides down every couple of shots

then you put it on wrong, it works just fine for me

This sounds like it would be a pretty good idea for someone with a heavy shaft to us in a pregame warmup so that it will feel a lot lighter. Looks like it goes around the neck and the elastic thing keeps it from sliding down to your hands.

It goes at the throat of the head, where the head and stick come together.

Its supposed to weight your stick so when your in practice its heavy and harder to pass/shoot, so when in a game you get a very nice shot, and a very hard pass.
