The Brine Clutch arm guards are worn by two types of players. Oddly enough, they are geared towards newer youth AND elite level players... but not that popular with the group of advanced players in between. Let us explain .

For youth players, the Clutch series has plenty of protection to stand up to middle school level checks. The kids just aren't swinging the lumber that hard yet and the plastic elbow cap and full coverage up the bicep and forearm are great. We highly recommend this pad for newer players because of the MOBILITY. These are free flowing pads that you can barley tell you have on after you suit up. Ultra comfortable and full range of motion for kids at younger age groups.

For elite level guys, same deal... it all about the mobility. If you want to sacrifice some protection for the most mobile, best fitting pad on the market... the Clutch series is the go to for many collegiate and pro level players. These will take the sting off and are plenty for most middies, D middie and D poles.
