Southside refers to Southside of Chicago - He IS a Midwestern Lax person you tool (as my 4 lax playing kids would say), and one of the most vocal and visible cheerleaders for Midwestern Lax - Trust me, I'm one of those awful NY/CT/MD/Va rooted people who didnt know people west of Buffalo had heard of lacrosse (except for the plains indians with those cool little double sticks). Week in and week out, from SSLM, we get outstansding pictures of little known (back east) tourney's, (check out the Placid pictures for something Sports Illustrated can't match) reports of Midwestern games, coverage of Midwestern college action...He's behind you guy, more than anyone else is...Can he be a sarcastic nasty SOB? sometimes, perhaps, but as another poster mentioned, if the local teams don't show,and the local sponsor is holding the bag (and paying the ref and field costs), don't blame the East Coast warriors who drive 15 hours to get there, nor the local guy with a family and a job that comes out and fairly covers your action.
