It is a disappointing to hear virtually no one attribute this victory to the quality of the UMass team... instead it is attributed to Syracuse being such a bad team this year. I feel that is truly an unrealistic view, sure Syracuse is not the caliber that they usually are, but did you ever consider the fact that maybe UMass can play at a higher level than most people think. I suppose the final score and outcome of next week's game against JHU will determine whether people will actually give credit and respect to UMass.
