WHAT IS THAT FACEOFF GUY THINKING ABOUT!
by beachranger on May 28, 2005 @09:34:05 PM

I am sickened by what that UVA faceoff guy did with 12 seconds to go in the game. Why would you challenge Peyser for the ball after you lose the faceoff. Just go back on D let him pick it up and play defense from inside out. Istead you do the only thing that could give the Hop a chance to tie the game. You challenge him and get run around and create an unsettled situation. With Peyser on the face off, i think i would have used a pole on the draw anyway. I believe they used two poles on the wing which led to #25 being covered by a short stick, he was face dodged and thus they tied the game. At least with a pole on the wing, you would have a pole on Pesyer after he wins the face off. Bad Situation all around, and they should of never lost that game.
