I'm not saying it can't be done. however, for several years I kept waiting for Md to make it big. With the Ritz bros and Walters etc and Alford in goal, every year was in doubt when Md came to play JHU. Perhaps Md might be the biggest story for the last few years, most potential for average results.
I still think in a one game knock-out tourney as in NCAA finals you need to play some very good and very lucky lacrosse to get through. Exception ! Last year Va had so much octane in the tank they looked good. with their team play and speed they turned out awesome.
