| | As coaches, they sure seem to be. The reason for this is-with their teams as the underdogs throughout their coaching careers, they have done great. However, as the favorites, they have had problems. Of course, it is much easier to go in as the underdog, especially as a coach, because if you win, everyone praises you, but if you lose, it is not as big of a deal because you are expected to lose.
I think Seaman and Cottle are good coaches, but to be considered great coaches, coaches need to be consistent both as the underdogs and as favorites. That is why Bill Tierney is the best ever. Ironically, did you know that Seaman, Cottle, and Tierney are best buddies? They run the Top 205 camp. |
