SYRACUSE IS BETTER THAN THEIR RECORD SHOWS
by Naptown Fan on April 24, 2007 @12:13:42 PM

Yes, they lost to Army and yes, they lost badly to Hopkins. However, they have improved a lot in the past few weeks. And remember this: They did beat a powerful Georgetown team, beat an Albany team that beat Hopkins, lost to a super Cornell team by just 1 goal, and might have beaten UVA if not for an incredible 2nd Half by UVA goalie Kip Turner.

Syracuse next plays a UMASS team that is quite a bit better than their record shows. They have a lot of talent back from last year's cinderella run and lost to Georgetown by 1 goal last weekend.

If Syracuse can beat UMASS and Colgate, they will be 7-6 and eligible for the tournament. I say they make it. If they make it, they could be dangerous.
