No, that does not mean both or either will make the national title game this year. However, right now, they are the 2 best teams out there. Not only are they talented, but they have great senior leadership. Almost every team in the past several years who has won the title has had great senior leadership. UVA sure had it last year!
I predict Duke and Cornell to meet for all the marbles on Memorial Day. Since 1979, only 5 teams have won a national title-Syracuse, Johns Hopkins, North Carolina, Princeton, and UVA. Having another team win it would be so great for the sport of lacrosse!
