| | Yes, that is great. Ace Adams didn't win any. However, you are right that he has several choke jobs on his resume, too. He may be the greatest recruiter ever, and he is also a solid coach. But, with the talent he has had throughout his time at UVA, I think he should have at least a couple more championships. The two biggest choke jobs he has had are:
1. losing to Maryland in the 1997 Quarterfinals with a loaded team, which featured Michael Watson, Doug Knight, David Curry, and Tommy Smith.
2. blowing a huge lead against a very young Princeton team in the 2000 Final Four, with a Cavs team that included Conor Gill, Jay Jalbert, and Ryan Curtis
However, all-around, he is a winner. |
