I agree with PAlax11...there are so many useless stats within this article. Yes, Danowski is the best player in college lacrosse week in and week out, but I have a slight problem comparing some of his stats to the all time greats considering he had an extra half a year to add to them. In my opinion you give any athlete of Division 1 skill 5 years to work with a core of friends and players (like Duke) and we should expect a year like this and stats like these. Danowski, Greer, O'Hara should be pro players and have no business within the college game anymore and they've proved this thoughout the year dominating every weekend. It's like taking Duncan, Ginobli, and Parker and putting them on some college team during an NCAA tourny. In my opinion its not fair towards the other D1 teams who work hard to compete with Duke who has a stacked team with multiple pro-type players. Yes Duke will prob go on to win the tourny but from my stand point, and I know some wont agree, I dont see it as legit and I would personally place some form of an asteric on thier championship (if it even gets to that point). I'm not trying to hate on Duke but NO other college team has had a situation as unique as thiers.
