| | I agree with most of the teams getting in, except we know now that VMI or Canisius will represent the MAAC. If VMI wins, they go to Duke; if Canisius wins, they go to Syracuse. One aspect of the tournament that I have noticed in the past few years is how the Committee groups 4 teams together that have never been to a Final Four, or haven't gone in a long time. For instance, in 2006, Hofstra, Providence, Cornell, and UMass were seeded so one of those teams would make the Final Four, which was UMass. Last year, Cornell, Towson, Albany, and Loyola were seeded together, with Cornell going to the Final Four. With this year's rankings, I wouldn't be surprised (as crazy as this might sound) if these 4 teams were seeded together: UNC, UMBC, the Drexel/Hofstra winner, and Georgetown. |
