These kids weren't born with a stick in their hands. In some areas lacrosse has only been around for a couple of years, and these kids are out here working hard so they can have a run at the D-1 level. I am from Reno and have only been playing for two years, lacrosse has only been around for a total of three years. So its pretty amazing that these kids are as good as they are, most highschools don't even have club teams. In Northern Nevada there are only six teams, all wich are club! Lacrosse is treated the the ugly step-child out here, and people should do everything to support the games movement out west!
