Denver Could Be A Tough Out
by Naptown Fan on May 8, 2008 @12:19:44 AM

Not only are they a good team and hungry for respect, but they will be playing Maryland and Dave Cottle. When it comes to being the definite favorite in big games, Cottle has had serious trouble throughout the year. As the underdog, he has done some great things. So, if Maryland can get by Denver, they could go on to surprise a lot of people in this tournament. This might well be the only time they are the favorite. If everything goes the way it should, Maryland would play UVA in the Quarterfinals, Syracuse in the Final Four, and Hopkins or Duke for the title. That is, if they got that far. But, due to Cottle's troubles in big games as the favorite, believe it or not, Denver could be as tough a test for Maryland as anyone.
