Congratulations Navy! Navy sure quieted some doubters in this game, myself included. They faced a UNC team with probably more overall talent, who had played a tougher schedule, and who was playing at home. In addition, Navy didn't play particularly well in their last few games. But they sure came to play in this game. They outshot North Carolina, and their defense really was smothering, as they held a good offense to just 7 goals and forced many turnovers, especially on attempted clears. This win had to be especially sweet for Navy because Navy lost to the Tarheels on this same field in the First Round last year.

Now, Navy will play either Hopkins or Hofstra in the Quarterfinals next weekend in Annapolis.
