Manhattan played a very respectable game against a team that only lost by 1 goal to syracuse.... that being said it is also important to consider that Hobart only lost by 1 goal to Georgetown and just lost their first round game by 17 goals. College lacrosse is sporadic, sort of an "any given sunday" situation...the point being that good teams can play like shit and mediocre teams can rise to the challenge...that being said i can't really call MC a mediocre team as they did win their conference and have travelled to the tournemant, something the D1 team i play was far from doing.... so give the guys some respect just as the players and coaching staff from G-town did... lacrosse is and should remain a sport where sportmanship and class are important aspects of the game...G-town needs to step it up a notch if they want to hang around in the tournemant however....G-town is definately missing the cannon shot of a Scott Doyle, Hehehan, Gamble and some others who have graduated in the past couple of years...Dusseau is nasty but they need more than one extraordinary player to carry them the rest of the way and Goldman and Walker, both good players, are just shy of being great which is what is needed. It would be nice to see princeton exit the tourney early though, just to make things interesting...MC should have another good year as well since a lot of their players are freshman....i think the top three scores might all be freshman so they may have a brighter future than initially expected...
