the custom stringing is the best thing on this website!!!!!! it came out exactly how i wanted it to. You have to work in a pocket but that doesn't take long at all. My choice is the Maverik Juice with hard mesh. i've played for three years and two of my best goals came because that head. it has amazing accuracy too. GET IT NOW!!!!

I'm a dad of a 12yr old player that just made an allstar team. Want to surprise him with a new stick/head/string combo. I have picked out a Gospel head,Krypto pro diamond shaft, but have no idea about stringing. Which should I get him, the six diamond or hard mesh. This stick will be broken in after year end tournaments. My boy plays all positions, but during the tournament it will be defense mainly. Probably will end up with a DPole.

younger players especially love the extra hold that 6 diamond provides, and its really helpful on a d-pole, where i find it to be most effective and the shot-speed tradeoff the least impacting

def 6 diamond and the gospel is a great all around head, especially d and middie and attack

If your son is going to play defense get him soft mesh or canadian mesh. It will NOT hold up in the rain but if he keeps it dry and takes care of it it will be much better than hard mesh, it will have much better hold and it will be easier to use. I am assuming he has at least one other stick so make sure he uses his old one when it rains outside. Also as just a suggestion see if a friend or a local lacrosse store can string it for him rather than this site, its more reliable and you can have it strung the way you want it to be strung, high pocket low pocket however much whip and hold you want in the stick etc. Last thing if hes playing defense try not to go with the gospel, I would suggest either an Xcalibur, Edge, or Cyber Pro for defense. They are all very stiff and wide which is what you need for defense. Good idea with the krypto pro tho.

i have a maverik wonderboy shaft and a brine clutch head its absolutely amazing but i play midi so that wouldn't really work for your boy but i say Canadian mesh is the best it gives you more ball control and accuracy.

I would go with the hard mesh if he is a atc or a mid but deffinally go with the 6 diamond for a d pole

i play deffense and im 14, for a head dont get the gospel either the brine edge, stx x10, or gait wizzard. theyre stiff and if hes he really plays lots get him a abrine clutch with eithe 6d mesh or 10d hard. REMEMBER FOR ANY POSITION SPEND THE PRIORITY MONEY ON THE HEAD NOT THE SHAFT. hope that helps btw evry one on my team or college lax uses these set ups so there you go!!!!

The outrageous price isnt for the mesh, its for getting them to put time into stringing. I suggest learning yourself, it's very easy, and only costs about $10 if you just go get mesh from a sports or lacrosse store

@muleslax006- canadian is fairly hard to break in,however, once you get it broken in your pocket will hold through the rain..i would say majority of players use hard mesh, its easy to break in and you get a nice pocket

Im buying the BRINE Eclipse head for my goalie stick! Should i get soft or hard mesh? and why?

good pick on the eclipse, its STX by the way. and i would go with six diamond. the pocket will go deeper than hard or soft which will result in less rebounds. also i have found 6 diamond breaks inn easier.

i also got an eclipse and i found it easier to break in the pocket with hard mesh than six diamand. and the way it looks in the picture with the hard mesh is not the way it will come. and with hard mesh you can throw farther but it is a little harder to catch
