my team played dallas jesuit at a tournament in houston losing by one cuz they had a goalie going to maryland and our face off guy got hurt mid game.

Class act player from Fordham Prep. The goalie that is committed to Maryland did not play against you, it was there back up goalie, you may want to stop using that as an excuses. But in your defense he is being recruited by some very good schools.

Congrats to both teams, very cool video. Fun to see Texas Lacrosse after moving to D.C. Funny to me that people bash other states on this site. I do not remember TX, CA, or FL ever saying they were as good as the East. Only that they are striving to be. It would be like us making fun of you all for saying you play quality football. Its a different culture in states like TX, CA, and FL. But as you can see in D1 Lax recruits, there is talent in these states, and more and more will get recruited because of the Coaches that have moved there from the East and are teaching the sport. Anyways, congrats to both teams again.
Wow ten all Americans! That is very impressive. Let's remember though fellas, these all Americans are not compared to the entire nation, just Texas. I remember reading that coppel traveled to PA and played some ok teams. The win against a school by the name of hatboro-horsham was very nice. The score was 10-9 coppel. Hatboro-horsham is not having a great year and is not looking at a state championship. Hatboro-horsham has 0 all Americans so far. DeFazio is Deffinitly a D1 prospect but other than that they don't have much. I find it hard to believe that coppel is any bit legit. I would put some real money on a team like la salle or the haviford school would 20 goal this team. as far as the cuse bound defender for coppel, I question his skill. Two hatters attack had big games. One had 3 goals and the other had 7 or 8 points. This kid must have covered one of them. These kids from Texas are some of the best athletes I have ever seen on a lacrosse field. number 7 is very legit. Right left shoots the ball well and can rUn like the wind. Number 12thefaceoff kid is also very very legit everyone els sucks. Learn to use your off hands and play some real ny md and pa teams.
well last year Highland Park lost 11-3 to now #1 Haverford, and everyone said it was a blowout and truly showed that Texas and many other states just simply were terrible compared to the starkly superior northeast. I'm getting sick and tired of northeast arrogance about this subject. Are you better, and more developed overall in the lacrosse realm? Yes. But stop looking at these videos, which actually display some great talent and athleticism, and do nothing but mention how horribly these teams play the game. And furthermore, its extremely easy to hide behind the "I bet the #1 team in the nation could handle these guys" excuse. Support the spread, don't stunt it.
granted 11-3 is an impressive score, I'm not quite sure its 20 goals on a state champion. Especially since much more highly ranked teams have lost by higher margins this year to the #1 team.
