Welcome to the Lax.com 2013 Fantasy League! All the Division One schedules are in the system as well as all of the rosters. So start doing your research. There needs to be at least five users in a league before that league can start it's draft, and the draft is initiated by your league's Commissioner. A Link to the Fantasy Start page is in the headers above.
The Rules:
- You may start your players as many times as you like, so factor in a team's schedule when drafting. You may not activate or de-activate a player from your starting line-up on the same day he has a game. For example, you have four attackmen, three of whom have a game on Saturday and are all starting, one who has a game Sunday and is currently on your bench. On Saturday, your three starters will be locked in the 'on' position so even though your Sunday player can be toggled, there's no room for him as a starter. At the split second of midnight, your three Saturday starters will now be free to be de-activated, but your Sunday starter will be locked in the 'off' position. So you can only get the benefit of three starters over a two day window simply because you won't be able to swap them instantaneously.
- Points are awarded based on actual game performance. Attackmen and middies get a point for each goal and assist. A team defense is awarded the difference between 13 and their goals allowed (ie, you would lose two points if your D gave up 15 goals, gain 10 points if they only let up 3). Goalies are awarded their saves * save percentage.
How your league decides to organize your draft is up to you. The league commish is responsible for entering the draft results once your draft is settled.
Important note on drafting: YOU CANNOT TRADE YOUR DEFENSE(S)! All attackmen, middies, and goalies can be added/dropped from the waiver wire at any time, but your defenses are locked into your roster for the season. Choose wisely!
