This week's Lax.com High School Game of the Week took us to the campus of Fairfield University for a meeting between Connecticut's top two teams. With just :21 seconds left, Greenwich avenged last year's one goal loss to Fairfield Prep, taking it home with an 12-11 win.

Not very good lacrosse for H.S. Game of the Week. These kids' sticks are pathetic. Don't see how either of these teams can be nationally ranked. As usual I.L. trying to satisfy everyone by including all the regions.

you, should tell syracuse, princeton, duke, unc and loyola that ct doesnt have very good lacrosse because about half the field is headed to those schools next year, with the other half heading out to programs like that when they graduate.

alright, alright. so according to your logic, every lacrosse player that comes out of ct goes to a perennial d1 power. i had no idea, thanks for dropping knowledge.

and regardless of the effectiveness of that double behind the back play, it was straight filth

no hes just saying that saying these kids suck is kinda stupid. because there are many quality d1 players on those teams, and unless he is playing at duke or unc saying these kids suck is a little ridiculous

yeah you're right. basing the fact that all of ct sucks at lacrosse because of a stupid behind the back play makes total sense. you're an idiot. greenwich, darien, fairfield prep...all nasty lacrosse programs. Assuming from these posts you must be from NY or MD and believe that any lacrosse outside of your state is garbage. YOU"RE F*CKING STUPID.

P.S. Darien Ranked top 10 in the nation the past three years. How many teams from MD/NY pull that off?

dude ur just wrong

seriously, there are so many teams from NY/MD who would absolutely dominate CT teams, Gtown Prep, West Genesee, Landon, Boys Latin, St. albans, Loyola Blakefield, St. Mary's Annapolis, the list goes on. I'm not sayin ct isnt good, there just not as good as NY/MD teams.

P.S. Multiple MD/NY teams pull that off, if you look closely they do generally dominate the top 10 and top 5

I was just about to say that, also Fairfield's goalie looks like he's about to cry alone in his room every time he gets scored on.

by DefensE47 (#195729) on 4/16/08 @8:43PM
My team in CT scrimmaged greenwich this year (L 9-2), and we play FP regularly (conference)

I hate them both, but got the chance to see the game and it was actually a really good game for those of you who dont think the clips show that..

His name is Will Lomas, the goalie for prep, and he's really their third string goalie but because of injuries he got a chance to play
