The Game Story:

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Riding a four-game losing streak, the Washington Bayhawks were hoping that a change of scenery would do the trick in getting a win. However, the Boston Cannons dashed those hopes with a strong second half effort to earn a 14-10 win at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.

Sean Morris was named as the Bud Light MVP after scoring all four of his goals in the second half as the Cannons broke a 5-5 half-time draw with six goals in the third quarter.

Matt Poskay, who appeared in the All-Star Game on Thursday night, scored three goals with two assists while rookie midfielder Paul Rabil added three goals with an assist.

Brendan Healy and Derek Cherney each scored two goals to lead the Bayhawks offense. Cherney also added an assist in a losing effort.

Goalkeeper Chris Garrity posted a 23-save effort for the Bayhawks, who have dropped five straight games after starting the season with a 3-1 mark.

gloves

I looked around on the internet and these are one of the two new brine gloves coming out. I think Paul is wearing what is being referred to as "Silos" and these are the King II's

Heard of 'em
by (#167078) on 7/27/08 @10:41AM
i was just at a camp and a rep from brine/warrior came and showed us some of the new stuff for the '09 line. he told us about the silos and they sounded nasty. he aslo told us that rabil was the only one on the cannons who isn't wearing exodus 2's cuz he doesn't fit in 'em. i just assumed he'd wear kings or pick a warrior glove..

Thats what I was thinking too, but the grip does not fade out on this one. And it has a hexagon pattern instead of Mikeys symbol.
