Sunday Goodies
by neil on February 20, 2000

Following the lead of the presidential primaries, games are starting to get earlier and earlier every year (and play favorably to warm weather teams). Here's what was going on this sunday afternoon -- thats sunday, Feb 20, in case you weren't sure.

The UNC men barely held off Fairfield in a thrilling 12-11 season opener -- Spencer Steele and and the Stags are legit; this wasn't indicative of a weak Tar Heel team. The UC Berkeley women handed Regis its 2nd consecutive 15-0 spanking. The Denver men crushed Colorado College 21-5. Now what the hell are schools in Colorado doing playing this early? Division 3 men was to get its season opener with Salisbury State visiting Mary Washington, but it got postponed until tuesday because of sloppy fields.

Hop on the Baglio Train!!! Choo Choo
by God of Lax (#45065) on 2/27/03 @12:45PM
All I hear is hype about the Fairfield attack , what about their starting midfield they have a junior, Matt Baglio who looked like the second coming of Christ in the fall. Keep your eye on this kid cause he will hurt you if you let him. Again there attack is tight but Baglio is dangerous with a capital D.
