Head Coach Bill Tierney:"It's a funny class...The last four years or so we've been ranked by the tabloids so to speak..as in the top three for recruiting classes. This year nobody is ranking us at all and we're kinda' glad about that. It's a bunch of kids that are developing a little bit of an attitude about that to be honest and when it's all said and done in 2005 people are going to say it was a pretty good class."

Attack

Matt Prager, Garden City NY Mid/Att: Probably not an impact player this year. Started at midfield(Princeton recruited the entire starting midfield from Garden City)last year but moved to attack. Looking to turn into a player much like his brother B.J. who was a finisher.

Midfield

Mac Bryson Sewickley Academy, PA:"6'2" 190 lbs and runs like the wind. The sky's the limit with this kid" Doesn't come from a traditional hotbed, but has all the tools to be great.
J.G. Guidera, MD Loyola: Was moved to longstick last year because of a lack of poles, but moved back to midfield. Very strong on defense and will contribute on the wing on face-offs and defensively.
Jared Keating, NY Garden City: Another member of the Garden City trio who has all the tools to contribute down the line.
Mike Wenzel Garden City, NY: Like Mac, Mike is a very athletic kid with the size to back it up. He's probably the strongest candidate for playing time in the group coming in with All-American credentials.
David Willard, St. Louis MO- A walk on role player for the time being.
Andrew Sung- Exeter (NH) - Smart player who just doesn't make mistakes. Players on the team actually aproached the coach to make sure Sung made the team. Extremely hard worker.

Defense

Tim Sullivan, Loyola, MD, : High hopes for Tim, but he hasn't actually played yet due to injuries. Very smart player who might replace Scott Farrell as the inside man in the future.
Oliver Barry, NY NY, Hotchkiss (CT) : Big strong kid who has a big upside.
Ryan Watson, Ramapo NJ, : Currently playing football at Princeton where he's actually getting time as a freshman. "Can't wait to get him in a lacrosse uniform"

Goal

Matt Larkin, MD Severna Park Severn :"Will push Gould for a starting position"
Eric Chase, Montclair (NJ) Phillips Andover (NH) :Left hander who needs to adjust to the high speed shots on this level. Will contribute in a back-up role.

Mike McBride, Delbarton - Highly skilled shooter. NJ Player of the year in HS. All-American, National North-South game player.
Dan Zaccagnino, Choate-Rosemary Hall CT - Very quick attackman, always goes hard. Good with the ball in his stick.
Brian Wendell University CA - Good athlete, will have to adjust to speed of college game.
David Patterson St. Andrews DE - Another good athlete with decent size.

Midfield

Tim Reid, MD, St. Pauls, Mid/Att - Polished player with strong understanding of game.
Teddy Rykowski, Good Counsel MD - Big, athletic middie with good skills and confidence.
Doug Kocis Huntington NY - A little small, but can run for days. Brian Wannop Woodstock Union - Excellent athlete with very good size.
Ford Harrington Cockeysville MD, Hill School - Another middie with good size, has polished skills and a good scoring touch.

Cornell

Head Coach Jeff Tambroni:"I think it's a pretty talented class. We've definitely gotten more slick in the offensive end. We felt that was one thing we needed to go out and get us a little bit more, I guess for the lack of a better word, savy offensively...Defensively we were sound, in our technique and in our athletes. We just wanted to go out and get a little bit more of a scoring threat."

Attack

Chris Deutchman, Gilman Att:"Chris Deutchman is playing attack right now, but may see some time at the midfield. He was probably the most opportunistic in our fall tournament."
Kevin Nee, Taft NY, ATT:"He did what we expected him to do. We brought him in here to be a finisher; he's a lefty finisher. We needed lefty's and someone who could help us in and around the cage and he's done just that. He's a fiery competitor who understands inside play." He will be part of a four or five man rotation at attack.
Dan Leary, Deerfield Academy, Att:"A small, but crafty player. Works extremely hard. I think he overcomes his size with his work ethic....He gives us the opportunity to create mismatches."
Sean Greenhalgh-Saint Catherine, Canada:"..is probably the one that showed the most promise this Fall. He's a lefty, like Kevin Nee he's more of a goal scoring type. He's a Freshman who started for us in the Fall tournament. I think with the addition of some confidence and reassurance that he belongs on the field he's going to play a great role in the offensive end this year."

Midfield

Kyle Georgalas, Mahopac LS Mid:"He's a great athlete. When he adds some lb's in the weight room he's going to be great for us...is great off the wings on face-offs, runs the field extremely well...We see him playing for us and contributing on game day in the Springtime."
Justin Redd, Gilman Mid:"Definitely going to see some time for us in the Spring. Ran the second midfield, initiated a great deal in practice and scrimmages down in Baltimore...He's a workoholic when it comes to lacrosse so he's going to continue to get better."
Andrew Reenstra, Ridgewood, Mid:"took a little while early to develop, but we anticipate that he's going to play for us as well...Maybe on the second midfield, he's fighting for one of those positions. He's a pretty athletic lefthanded middie which we don't have...Poses a little more of an offensive threat...needs to do a better job defensively."
JD Nelson, Gilman, Mid:"has done a great job for us at the face-off X. He'll probably spend more time there and in the defensive end as a freshman...He's made facing off in practice much more competitive."

Defense

Rob Goosk, Oceanside NY, Def;"Intelligent defenseman. He's gonna' take a little while to develop. I see him being a little more of a role guy for us this year, but he did come on strong towards the end of the Fall system."
Mike Rodgers, Gilman Def:"He brings a physical prescence to the defensive end. Athletically he needs to grow a little bit, but he brings us something that we don't have with our other guys. That's just a physical prescence back there, someone who's willing to hit a little bit and be more aggresive on the ball."
Casey Stevenson, Ithaca-def:"played pretty well, great athlete, good size. Runs the field really well. We definitely feel like he can break into the line-up(entire starting defense returned from last year) , possibly in his freshmen season if he continues to grow into his body."

Goal

Kyle Miller, Salisbury Ct, Goalie:"Great hands, very quick hands. Played well as a back in the Fall. Showed a lot of promise."
Jeff Spirko, Fayetteville-Manlius, Goalie:"Played well, great athlete outside the cage. Didn't get a whole lot of time to prove himself, but we anticipate that in our Spring scrimmages he's going to have an opportunity to compete....We have are starter back that's been a starter for three straight years though. Everybody is pretty much vying for the back-up role."
