im pretty sure it was navy vs loyola at the academy. they plowed all the snow off the turf for the game so there were massive snow banks on the side of the field.

this was a good video but i think some of the "Big Hits" were kind of weak. i played for Utica Proctor about an hr east from Cuse and our crease defender would just destroy people. gave 2 kids concussions and sent a few to the sidelines for a quater or two. about 15% of his hits did end with penalties but he did a good job keeping the crease cleared and most of the hits in this video were penalties

If your goal is to run into people go do sumo wrestling.

I have never seen people who just try to "hit" people as tough. They usually just ruin the game for everybody around them.

The contact is part of the game, but it is not the objective.

ya dude i was just stating a point about some big hits in comparison to this video. its not like he was out there head hunting and i did say that most of his ended in penalties. i play attack so i know what its like to get hit pretty hard, and i dont have a problem with it. hits are part of the game, a good hit can pump your team up give some momentum...also no need to call names

You are correct, the name calling was wrong, my bad.
I would still rather see a team get pumped but by a Rusty gate check that leads to a fast break up the field that is finished by a behind the back goal.

i dont care how bad a hit is, your doing your job (if your a crease D or when anyone is on D) as long as its legal

Key word "legal" Clearing the crease is a great move. You have to clear the creases if a guy is in front of the goal because taking stick is just to risky at that point.

I just hate it when guys are going for hits just for the sake of going for hits.

grow some balls, hitting is part of the game, whether its legal or not. your the one ruining the game if your out there hugging your oppenents, the game was originally played to the death, the way it should be

yeah def. head hunting is stupid. that's some bs ppl do in football especially safties or linebackers.

lacrosse isn't the sport for that, even though it happens by those who lose respect for the game.

Im a goalie myself and i love to see a crease guy clear every one out. it gets me pumped and everyone else pumped. Also, there has to be some good hits where goalies lay someone out
