Last year, Pace University finished its 1999 campaign with a 14-1 record, a number three D-II NCAA ranking, and no shot at the one-game-only D-II national playoff between CW Post and Adelphi. What does Pace have to do this year in order to have a legitimate chance at the title (or even make the playoffs)?

Pace will first start by throwing their 1999 Honorable Mention All-American Goalie, Joe Vuotto, in the cage in order to anchor down their defense. Then they must hope that, 1999 First Team All-American Attackman, Andrew Wasik, can continue the two-year offensive tear he's been on to help generate enough offense to upset New York Tech and CW Post to lead Pace down the unbeaten path in 2000(which will hopefully stir up enough controversy with the pollsters to rid us of this one game D-II playoff system)
