HS Game of the Week: Fairfield Prep (CT) vs. Delbarton (NJ)





A battle of private schools played out in the "Checking for Cancer Lacrosse Invitational" Saturday at the Haverford school, when Fairfield Prep of Connecticut trounced Delbarton of New Jersey, 10-2.

I thought Prep was going to be weak after they lost such a good class last year but they're still ill.

Not looking forward to playing them.

Dude i can't say im surprised with Delbarton's play lately because they graduated a bunch of good seniors and even in pre-season they just didn't look good

If i were recruiting Id go after 43 on Prep. Big with good vision. Prep looks good. This was a surprising score in my book.

Delbarton is not falling off as the NJ powerhouse, they are just having an off year. They beat Mountain Lakes pretty easily, and they are supposed to be the other powerhouse. They will be great again next year, they may even pull it out by the end of this season.

Summit Nj is the new powerhouse of NJ they won states last year and beat Delbarton again this year so watch out
