a basic split or a face dodge will but anything fancier than that is just leaving your stick exposed for longer and if youre up against an attackman who can ride at all youre going to get stripped

Not if you split correctly, you would have to hide the stick between your legs in stride.

If you sell it, they will bite. I've never been a great dodger, but the first time I used the first technique, I got good seperation and almost got a goal (darn pipe).
