Jake Bebee went to DIII Springfield and he got drafted by the cannons. He's number 3 in blue in the video, check him out!

The goal at 3:54 from who I assume to be Ryan Hoff was great, and Corey Small is ridiculous

Are any of the guys out there from higher level MCLA schools or are they all from the NCAA?

MCLA

The only player to ever go into the MLL was the FOGO from Michigan last year. There are some that should have been. Like Steve Nagle from BYU, he's dirty, and a couple Michigan guys and maybe Chapman... But the MCLA always gets screwed because they aren't top contenders in the nation.

MCLA Reply

The dudebro from Michigan is NOT "the only player to ever go into the MLL" from the MCLA. Alex Smith from Colorado State University plays for the Outlaws and has for years, LONG before anyone else from the MCLA made a roster. Do some r-r-r-r-r-r-r-research, brah. Also, the Outlaws had a big defenseman from the other unc (northern colorado) on their roster last year. But, his unc barely qualifies as a legitimate academic institution, let alone a source of lax talent.

First of all, there are two alex smiths in MLL. One from UDel and one from CO state. It took me 20 seconds to find that bit of information without insulting anyone on an anonymous forum.

And second, nobody's getting screwed in MCLA. There are only six teams in the MLL... Compared to 60 D1, 35 D2, and 150something D3 schools, 200something MCLA schools, and probably 100something NCLL teams.

Obviously most of the MLL talent is going to come from the Varsity programs because most players who really want to compete at a serious level are going to go to a school with just that in mind. The MLL clearly pays attention to club ball, or there wouldnt be ANY MCLA players out there. But in a league as small as the MLL, it comes down to a choice between a Steve Naegle, and a Kylor Berkman... I know who my choice would be.

If an MCLA player is serious enough about lacrosse to be interested in playing at a professional level, then they should probably go to a school where: a - people are actually going to notice them, and b - theyre going to play against some serious competition. Example: Will Yeatman. Dudes out of San Diego... could have played for any MCLA team in southern CA, but he went to two competitive schools. IMO hes an average attackman. But with his size, after the 2010 season he could have a shot at the lower end of the draft. BUT had he gone up the road to play for Chapman I think it'd be a different story.

MCLA fans need to stop bitching about how nobody pays attention to them. The MCLA is generally really weak. There's no other way of putting it. There are about 5 teams worth paying attention to, and even those are spotty at best.

I agree about the MCLA. I played DII ball and we kilt BYU when we played them for a non NCAA game during the year when they won MCLA tourney. Steve Nagle is good, I went to high school with him. However most MCLA players dont have the full package a DI or DII player has.

Did you go to Notre Dame de Namur? I wouldnt say a six goal win is completely killing them, considering how sh!tty you think they are. ND de namur sucks now, i bet the top five club teams would beat the current team.
