Princeton vs. Virginia Fall Ball Highlights

The shooters finally warmed up for the day's last game, Princeton vs. Virginia. With the Tigers coming to form by the end of their first scrimmage, and with Virginia having a game under their belts too, these two squads really pushed each other, particularly on offense. Again, Princeton's snipers found the twine early and often. Virginia enjoyed scoring success too, but were more often stymied by solid goal tending in the Princeton cage. A rematch of these two teams at some point next year could yield a very exciting shootout for those that watch.

The event benefited ProjectSpark, "an organization dedicated to supporting Parkinson's education and research." The organization and tournament were founded by Princeton alum Christian Cook, and Davidson Alum Lauren Cook, after their mother Diane was diagnosed with early stage Parkinson's.

I would like to thank lax.com for posting the Tyler Fiorito highlight video from their scrimmage.

Did anyone else notice that Princeton didn't have numbers on their practice jerseys.

Sure they showed a lot of saves but not all of those were fiorito...look at the mesh color. princeton fielded two goalies that game. chill.

all the sick saves were made by fiorito. they put in the other guy and he made like 3 saves. fiorito is still a filthy goalie

I think they have them in small numbers near the necks of the jerseys on the back.

All respect to the Mcbrides the Brattons are the two best players in the NCAA and Chris LaPierre is a close third but the McBrides, LaPierre and both the Brattons all played Tri-State which is were I play my fall, winter and summer ball boy.
