HALEY NAMED ASSISTANT
MEN'S LACROSSE COACH
BOSTON, Massachusetts -- Wentworth Institute of
Technology today announced the hiring of Patrick Haley as an
assistant MEN'S LACROSSE coach. Director of Athletics Lee
Conrad and first-year head coach Paul Murphy made the
announcement.
A resident
of Newton, Mass., Haley was a four-year letterwinner at the
University of Massachusetts (formerly Boston State College) during
the 1978, 1979, 1981 and 1982 seasons. He graduated from UMass
Boston with a Bachelor's degree in History in 1983 and received a
Master's degree from the Joint Military Intelligence College
(Washington, D.C.) in 1994. He is currently pursuing an
additional Master's degree from Northeastern University, with an
anticipated completion date of 2001.
He served as the assistant varsity and head junior
varsity coach at Newton South (Mass. High School) for two seasons
(1983-184), was the head coach at Merrimack College during the 1985
season and was an assistant varsity coach at Langley (Va.) High
School in 1996 and 1997.
