Looking to cap off a perfect season and the number one ranking in the country, the Darien High School boy's lacrosse team took on the Cheshire Rams at Brien McMahon High School in Norwalk, CT. For Darien, the Blue Wave were looking for its 55th straight win and a third consecutive CT Class L Championship while Cheshire looked to cap off an impressive post season run that included an upset over Wilton in the semi-finals. However, the Rams would prove to be no match for the high powered Blue Wave, as Darien would roll to a 15-3 win, led by senior Kevin Lindley on the offensive side of the ball and Ryan Cornell in cage.
