The Clutch 4X is on its 4th release as one of the best offensive lacrosse heads in the game. This was one of the original offset patent designs that has just gotten better with time. This head follows classic lines and has some of the most available stringing holes in lacrosse. We highly recommend this head for workhorse middies that get it done on ground balls and between the lines play.  The Clutch 4X is also one of our top LSM recommendations. For guys who want a wider defensive head, with that mid high pocket for that occasional late slide rip… this head cannot be beat. It shoots like a beast and the rounded scoop is awesome on ground balls as well. This head can literally be strung with any mesh on the market, and comes out game ready every time. [caption id="attachment_18131" align="aligncenter" width="234"] Brine Clutch 4x[/caption]   The Revo 3X – This is one of the stiffest close D heads on the market. The difference is that it is slightly more pinched than something like a Tank head or the Hammer 500. This head is optimal for advanced youth and high school level players that do not want the super wide feeling of those collegiate level heads. The Revo 3X simply offers more ball control and better passing accuracy because of the pinch. If you are moving into specialty positions and are looking for that defensive head that offers a combination of stiffness and more control, then the Revo 3X is a high level option that you should seriously consider. High pocket setup in this head allows for both lofted and laser like clearing passes. Stiff and nasty on the checks, but awesome on those scrappy ground balls. We string these here with a mid-high pocket for two handed power cradling in traffic. If you are a utility guy who is gonna bang it around in the pile, the King X is a great choice for durability and power. [caption id="attachment_18151" align="aligncenter" width="226"] Brine King X[/caption]   The STX Surgeon 10 500, is an NCAA spec head that you will see in the hands of some of the best attackman in the nation on Saturday afternoons. This head is really designed for those guys who like the pocket a little lower while doing work from GLE or the X.  This is a one handed, deep seated pocket setup that delivers amazing shot power because of the stiffness, but all the control that upper level players demand in an NCAA spec head. [caption id="attachment_18161" align="aligncenter" width="193"] STX Surgeon 10 500[/caption]   Last but certainly not least, the Under Armour Command lacrosse head. UA nailed it with this offensive monster that is known for having one of the best channels in the game. In the hands of a professional stringer, these heads come out super nasty for step down shooters and attack man that aren’t afraid to rip after that question mark dodge or in hands-free situations. The Command has a rounded scoop that middies love and the string hole setup allows for both mid-high and mid-low pockets. We are seeing more and more of these at the elite high school level and the success on a national spotlight is certainly a big factor here!
