| by jakeosmith (#285487) on 5/21/11 @8:51PM | | You know what's funny? One of our teams from Kentucky, Bluegrass Bats, came up to Ohio and won Lax-n-Nati. They also placed, like what, 8th in the national championship? | | | Reply to this

 | D1 programs
| by CMU39 (#178537) on 5/13/11 @4:46PM | Kentucky has Bellarmine and Ohio had OSU. SAME NUMBER OF D1 PROGRAMS!
Kentucky is on the rise, Bellarmine is in the same conference as Ohio State and Ohio State has been around substantially longer. Also didn't Bellarmine beat Ohio State last year? We should just be happy the game is growing. Bottom line is that at least we're not playing baseball. | | | Reply to this

| by faceoffdpole126 (#145491) on 5/15/11 @12:51PM | | I thought this was pretty good. I didn't think the goalie play was spectacular (not saying it was terrible, but a couple more could've been stopped), but for a state that doesn't get too much attention nationally, that was a pretty good highlight. | | | Reply to this

 | Chill
| by parachuteblues (#246061) on 5/16/11 @6:04PM | | Having played with and against players from both states, it isn't fair to trash an entire state because a sport is new in their area. OH lax, coming from a hot bed as I do, as much as i agree the level of play in some areas is far and away better based on pure depth alone, there comes a point where it's nice to see lesser known areas coming into their own; a testament to the sport growing. Instead of being negative and trolling this message board about how bad these kids are, think of how much more exciting the whole who's best discussion will be in 20-25 years after all these states have established strong youth programs and traditions of their own. Think of it this way: at one point, everyone besides the natives sucked, and they prolly sucked when they were first inventing it. | | | Reply to this
