LAX PRO INSIGHT
The new Epoch Dragonfly Gen 7 c30 IQ9 was released with the new 12K carbon weave which takes the reload technology away from the hands and moves it farther up the shaft towards the head. The net effect is more power on release and less wobble towards the middle of the shaft. The Gen 7 shafts are stronger and lighter than before. Learn more from this video about the difference between the new Epoch Gen 7 shaft shapes.
The "C" represents the shape of the shaft. C shapes are the most traditional and classic of the line and offer a more rounded feel on the edges. The IQ9 represents the stiffness of the shaft. The lower the number the stiffer the shaft. The 9 series is really designed for those high school and advanced youth players that are shooting 80 MPH or less. If you are into the traditional shape and are an older player, you should take a look at the the IQ5 series.
Regardless, these new Gen 7 shafts should scream up the top sellers list in no time based on early test results. Elite players love their Epoch shafts.
