LAX PRO INSIGHT
The all new Epoch Intergra glove is coming in at $155 and is poised to make a big entry into the mid-high lacrosse glove market. The one piece palm and seamless fingertips are innovative and provide a really granular feel on the shaft. We also really liked the wrist roll back mobility and the overall soft and supple fel of these gloves. The big story is really the flexible carbon fiber material. Epoch is known for producing the highest end, most popular carbon shafts on the market.. and now their engineers came up with a pliable and flexible carbon technology that makes these gloves stronger than steel, but soft and lightweight... pretty amazing !!
Here are the highlights from EPOCH:
Phase Change Technology: The next generation in performance textile innovation. This proactive patented technology is engineered to absorb, store and release heat for optimal comfort and moisture control. This allows you to perform at your best in all climates—longer.
(Carbitex) Flexible Carbon Fiber: This incorporates Non-Rigid Stabilized Carbon Fiber into the design for improved protection. This extremely lightweight and “flexible” carbon fiber has improved impact protection and abrasion resistance making Integra the new choice for today’s elite level players.
Tri-Layer Dual Density Foam Stack: Epoch’s engineers created a triple density foam stack which layers up the foam (in stacks) with the softer foam on the bottom layer and a denser polyethylene on the top layer for unrivaled protection.
