The STX Alliance VFT carbon lacrosse shafts have Variable Flex Technology which means they provide more whip the harder you flex them. Our Pro's described this VFT as having one of the quickest release on the market. The grip is slightly raised and has a softer applied finish. The grip is also slightly 3D so you don't really need tape on the VFT.
