FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Max Tuttle and Joe Saggese each had five goals to lead the Sacred Heart men's lacrosse team to a 17-11 win over the Dartmouth Big Green at Campus Field Saturday afternoon.

First Quarter
- SHU scored the first four goals of the game. Tuttle had two of the four, with Saggese and Julian Garritano also scoring to put the Pioneers ahead 4-0 with 6:29 to play.
- Dartmouth got on the board with 4:21 to go on a goal by Matt Paul.
- Tuttle completed a first quarter hat trick with his goal at the 3:17 mark, putting SHU up 5-1.
Second Quarter
- The Pioneers opened the quarter with four unanswered goals to take a 9-2 lead with 7:03 left in the first half. Connor O'Reilly opened the run with his first goal of the season at the 13:44 mark. Twenty-seven seconds later, Nick Albanese scored to make the score 7-2. Saggese and Kevin Cop also scored in the run.
- George Prince scored Dartmouth's only goal of the quarter with 3:03 to play, making the score 9-3.
- SHU won all six faceoffs in the quarter and outshot Dartmouth 16-4.
Third Quarter
- SHU opened the third with a man-up goal from Saggese at the 13:09 mark, assisted by freshman Jaden Walcot.
- After back-to-back goals by Saggese and Walcot put SHU ahead 12-5 with 6:32 to play, the Big Green scored four unanswered goals to end the quarter. Paul scored twice in the run, with Jimmy Heidt's goal at the 1:59 mark getting Dartmouth within three, 12-9.
Fourth Quarter
- The two sides traded goals to start the quarter, as tallies by Tuttle and Jake Giaquinto were answered by Prince and Will Randell to make the score 14-11 with 10:51 to play.
- Tuttle's fifth goal of the game with 4:57 to go sparked a 3-0 SHU run to close the game. Walcot scored with 2:08 to go, assisted by Joseph Cipoletti for his first career point. Saggese scored his fifth goal with 1:33 to play.

- Tuttle led SHU with seven points, adding a pair of assists to his five goals. He now has 98 career points.
- Saggese had six points on five goals and an assist. His five goals are a career-high.
- Giaquinto was 15-for-18 on faceoffs with eight groundballs.
