The 17th-ranked Robert Morris Colonials had their troubles with Wagner early, and led by just a 4-1 count at halftime, before pulling away for a 15-5 win on Saturday afternoon at Hameline Field on Senior Day. With the win, RMU improves to 10-3 on the season and 4-1 in Northeast Conference (NEC) play while the Seahawks, who will conclude their season on April 28 at Mount St. Mary's, fall to 4-9 overall and 0-5 in league. The Seahawks' determined defensive unit, which came into the game ranked No. 20 nationally, allowing just 9.08 goals allowed per game, neutralized the RMU's explosive offense for long stretches of this game. After the teams traded goals to open the second half, making it a 5-2 game, the Colonials found their offensive rhythm, connecting for six unanswered goals in building an 11-2 lead. Jimmy Perkins paced RMU with eight points on four goals and four assists while Adrian Torok-Orban added two scores as 10 different Colonials found the net. Defensively, Alex Heger recorded seven saves for RMU. For Wagner, junior goalie Matt Sefcik, who entered the game ranked No. 3 nationally in both save percentage (.600) and saves per game (13), came up with 17 saves on the afternoon, including several of the point-blank variety. Senior defenseman Andrew Park, who ranked No. 8 in the nation with 2.08 caused turnovers per game, came up with five this afternoon. The Seahawks held their own all afternoon in the faceoff circle, as sophomore Nick Warren was 7-of-14, while freshman Nick Ontiveros went 4-of-10 as the Colonials held a slim 13-11 edge in the X. Offensive, senior attackman Andrew Streilein led the Seahawks with three points on two goals and one assist. The Mt. Laurel, NJ native and 2017 Second-Team All-NEC selection, added to his career-leading totals and will enter his final game as a Seahawk ranked No. 1 in all-time goals (91), assists (58), and points (149). Also finding the net this afternoon for the Seahawks were sophomore attackman Dominic Branda and junior attackman John Norton, while junior midfielder Spencer Kaufman added one assist. Statistically, RMU held the edge in shots (49-30) and groundballs (41-21). Prior to the game, the following nine Seahawks were honored in a pre-game ceremony.
