The Red Foxes played good defense in the first half but Drexel used a second half surge on offense to claim a 15-5 victory over Marist at Vidas field. With five seconds left in the quarter, the Dragons scored to take a 4-3 lead. Both defenses locked down in the second quarter, with both teams going scoreless for over 11 minutes. James Sarrocco scored the only goal of the quarter, sliding the ball into the back of the net off a deflected shot. The Dragons had a chance to retake the lead at the end of the quarter but the Red Fox defense held steady and went into the second half 4-4. The Dragons came into the second half aggressive scoring six goals while shutting the Red Foxes down. They outshot Marist 16 to 5 in the third quarter while also not turn the ball over. Morrison finally got the Red Foxes on the board in fourth quarter, but the Dragons quickly responded with a goal of their own and put the game out of reach for Marist.
