Colgate pulled even at five in the third quarter, but the No. 10 Lehigh men's lacrosse team answered in a big way, going on a 4-0 run the span of 2:06 (a run that extended to 10-2), on the way to a 15-10 win on Sunday. The Mountain Hawks also opened Sunday's contest with four straight goals as the game of runs saw Lehigh open as much as a 15-7 lead before the Raiders scored three in the final three minutes to pull within five at the final horn. The Mountain Hawks improve to 4-0 on the season, 3-0 in Patriot League play ahead of a top 10 matchup vs. Army West Point on Saturday. Junior Tommy Schelling led Lehigh's offense with a season-high five goals, along with an assist for six points. Classmate Cole Kirst recorded his second straight hat trick after tallying the first of his career last time out at Bucknell. Sophomore John Sidorski tied career highs for goals (2) and points (4). Classmate Christian Mule' scored twice as well. Defensively, senior Teddy Leggett collected four groundballs and caused a turnover. Junior faceoff specialist Mike Sisselberger was sensational once again, recording career highs in faceoffs won (19), faceoffs taken (25) and groundballs (15). Mule', Kirst, Schelling and freshman Scott Cole accounted for Lehigh's first four goals and a 4-0 advantage in the second quarter. The Raiders responded with the next three and five of the next six to pull even at five early in the third quarter.
