The Sacred Heart University men's lacrosse team dropped a 13-12 overtime decision to Stony Brook University in a non-conference game played at St. Anthony's High School in South Huntington, N.Y. The loss drops the Pioneers to 1-4 on the year, while the Seawolves improve to 5-1 Stony Brook scored twice in 38 seconds, with 2:54 and 2:16 to play in the fourth quarter, tying the score 12-12 and forcing overtime. Both teams tallied two shots in the overtime period, with the second Seawolves shot, from Caleb Pearson, finding the back of the net, for the game-winner. The Pioneers return to action on Saturday, March 7. That game will now begin at 4:00 pm.
