The Aurora University men's lacrosse team dropped a non-conference match-up on the road against North Central College on Saturday, 16-13. GAME INFORMATION FINAL SCORE: North Central College 16, Aurora University 13 RECORDS: Aurora University 1-3 overall; North Central College 3-0 LOCATION: Naperville, Illinois HOW IT HAPPENED - The Cardinals scored quick in the first minute of the game to take the early lead on the Spartans. - NCC would score two more in the next five minutes making it 3-0 Cardinals. - AU would add two quick goals, 11 seconds apart, scored by Joseph Dey and Brody MacDonald. - The Cardinals would find the back of the net two more times before Harrison Canaday scored the final goal of the quarter. 5-3 Cardinals. - AU would score the first three goals of the 2nd quarter two from Dey and another from Dylan MacDonald. - NCC would answer with three goals of their own to end the half. 8-6 Cardinals. - NCC would score the first goal of the 3rd quarter, but Spartan Zach Bernstein would answer with one of his own. - The Cardinal offense would not go away as they would score another, another answer from the Spartans this time from Canaday. - NCC would score the final goal of the 3rd quarter making it 11-8 Cardinals. - Both teams would trade five goals in the final quarter.
