The Marist women's lacrosse team fell by a score of 14-9 at Colgate in the season opener for both teams on Saturday afternoon. SUMMARY Neither team led by more than one goal for the first 23:27, but Marist then scored four straight times in a span of 1:30 to grab a 7-4 lead. Devon Connolly scored twice in this stretch. Marist held an 8-7 lead at halftime. Between the end of the first half and the start of the second half, Colgate scored seven straight goals to take the lead for good.
