Recapping the Game > Temple fell behind early, as Rutgers scored the first four goals of the game en route to a 6-4 halftime lead. > The Owls turned the tables with an extended run to open the second half, regaining the momentum in the contest with five unanswered tallies in the first eight minutes to lead 9-6. > Rutgers narrowed the Owls' lead to 9-8 but goals from Abaigeal Ryan and Wynston Archer stopped the Rutgers surge, putting Temple up 11-8 with 15 minutes left in the game. > The Scarlet Knights countered with five unanswered goals re-taking the lead, 13-11 with 4:19 to play. > Temple was unable to tally the equalizer in the closing minutes, as the Owls dropped their first game of the season.
